Ok I decided to revisit this wall tonight now I'm getting a little better at joining these pics to show the full walls. If any wall needed revisiting and cleaning for a better joiner it was this one.
Gutted I couldn't be there to see this wall being painted. I personally think the 2 styles work so well together and I for one look forward to seeing more collaborations from these two stunning artists.
Saw this this week on the Hello Vinyl blog, just had to share.
Legendary tattoo artist Joe Capobianco , is teaming up with Kidrobot to release his very own Vinyl figure.The Bride will be available ( HERE ) and most retailers i would imagine, May 20th for $99, and she stands 8" tall. Joe has a huge reputation in the tattoo world, good chances most of your favorite artists tattoos are done by him.
This fantastic figure is based on "The Bride" tattoo that Joe did on Kidrobots ex employee the Baroness, who now works for the Hope Gallery where Joe is based, yes, its all coming together nicely.
As an added bonus, every order placed from Hope Gallery for The Bride, will receive a signed and numbered print with it. This special offer is limited to 100 pieces, not sure on the total run size of The Bride. This release will be held at the Hell City tattoo festival, May 21st, there will also be some limited printed T-Shirts to give away.
As Exit Through the Gift Shop steams through the States, Banksy has been hard at work painting walls in various Cities which has been well documented on blogs and around the web.
Gotta say, when I saw pictures of the wall MTH did with Tar down in Northampton I was desperate to go down and see it in person. Loving the direction Irek is going right now so I just had to go see this with my own eyes, grab pics with my own camera....

[In A State] Firstly, a big thanks for doing an exclusive mix for the In A State blog. I was really looking forward to one of your usual mixes, wondering what obscure beat you were going to hit us with and looking forward to the track you wouldnt usually find on a mix CD but you stunned us with a trip back in time with a mix full of pure quality.Did you always plan on this mix for the blog?
[Sean] Yeah, I did this just for the blog but had the idea of puttin a collection of old school tracks together that I have liked throughout my life say up to 92 i think.
[IAS]Love the Electro vibe at the start, really takes me back. Does it annoy you that the genre has been put to one side and the name used for some side house genre?
[Sean] Not really, the only thing that does bother me is that it never progressed into anything good, i cant think of one quality electro house tune even tho all the foundations were there.
This is what i grew up listening to, getting hold of each electro LP at the time then recording onto tape and blasting it out whilst breakin my back on a bit of lino down the park.
[IAS] I love your sets, I know you have mainly been DJing at parties and the occasional bar here in Nottingham and Derby, do you miss the days of the chill out room in clubs where your style is more suited?
[Sean] Yeah nothing better than hearin some obscure tune which you have to find out what it is then in turn gets you into another load of music.
but times change there's that many differant styles of dance music about now they need the rooms for that I spose, plus I really dont give a fuk because I dont even get out much any more and when I do I tend to pick places I can hear different kinds of interesting music.
[IAS] What music are you digging right now?
[SEAN] Allsorts of broken wonky bass driven electronic music.

The lads had banned Julie from being up in the scaffold and one look at the state of the floor was enough to explain why. Stepping past the paint drips I managed to have a quick chat with Julie and was able to upset my wife who is a big fan as she couldn't be there!
I couldn't miss grabbing this photo though.

There was another by Mr Penfold but was apparently stolen the night it was put up.
I was so lucky to be able to pop down this spot to today to stumble onto a new piece by Vermin.
I wasn't familiar with his work but this has completely blown me away and I'll be on the lookout for this Bristol based artist in the future.
